We also offer garage door opener accessories! If you have any questions about which garage door opener is right for you, feel free to contact us or schedule an in-home estimate.

Place a 2″ x 4″ on level ground where the door would touch when closed. After attempting to close the door, the garage door opener should reverse within 2 seconds of hitting the 2″ x 4″ piece of wood. You should do this every 3 months. If your door does not reverse, it may be necessary to have a qualified technician come out and diagnose the problem.

You should be repeating this process every 3 months.
